The Challenge

A Mature Practice With a Quiet Digital Footprint

Architecture-firm work, brochure-site presence

STG had real depth — architectural design, structural engineering, MEP, and full general contracting — but the online presence did not reflect that range. Visitors could not quickly tell what services they offered, where they worked, or how to start a conversation. Most inquiries came through referrals; the website was not contributing.

Four service lines, one undifferentiated story

Architecture, structural, MEP, and construction each speak to a different buyer with different concerns (permits, Title 24 compliance, seismic load, build timelines). The old site treated them as one block of copy, so qualified buyers in any one discipline could not tell whether STG was a fit for their project.

No downloadable proof of capability

Architecture and design-build buyers — especially commercial property owners and developers — vet firms by reviewing capability statements, project lists, and discipline-specific brochures. STG had none in a shareable form.

SEO that did not match the depth of the practice

The site was not surfacing for the queries Robert's prospects were actually typing — "design-build firm Los Alamitos," "MEP engineering Southern California," "Title 24 compliance Los Angeles," and adjacent terms. Without a structured page hierarchy, schema, and tightened copy, organic was leaving job opportunities on the table.

2. SEO foundation for design-build queries

Page-level titles and meta descriptions targeted at design-build, architecture, MEP, and contracting queries across Southern California. Schema markup for organization, services, and breadcrumbs. Image optimization for project galleries. Structured content with clear H1/H2 hierarchy so search engines could index the services correctly.

3. An AI-assisted brochure suite — four discipline-specific PDFs

A core part of the engagement was producing four professional capability brochures — one for each service line. FMS Studio used AI to draft, structure, and format these from STG's working notes, project history, and references, with Robert reviewing and approving the technical content. Each brochure is an 8-page PDF designed for send-out to prospective clients, GCs, owners, and developers — and is also live on the resources page of the STG site for lead capture.

  • Construction & General Contracting Brochure — 8 pages. Pre-construction planning through project closeout, with design-build delivery described end-to-end.

The four brochures are published at stgdesignbuild.com/resources.html. Producing the same content traditionally — from outline, writing, and formal layout — is typically several weeks of agency time per brochure. The AI-assisted workflow compressed that to a fraction of the time while keeping a consistent visual system across the four documents.

4. AI Lead Generation revenue system — partnership
